Citroen Elysee 2019 or 2017 Citroën Fukang is a 4 or 5 door sedan assembled in China from 1992 to 2012. The 2nd-generation, 2019 Citroën Elysee has been assembled in China and Spain since 2012. Desirous of embarking on the conquest of the Chinese automobile market, Citroën created in 1992 a joint venture with Chinese SAW-Dongfeng to assemble ZX. The car then takes the name of Fukang, which means prosperity in Chinese.
Initially, 2019 Citroen Elysee is available in 5-door hatchback bodywork, little appreciated by the local clientele, the ZX is available in a 4-door model in 1998. These two versions will then be abandoned during the restyling of the car in 2002. In 2002, the 4-door version underwent a restyling and was renamed Citroën Élysée. Always based on a ZX platform, which disappeared in France in 1997 – the Elysee stands out from the Fukang and replaces it with a modernized line.
Externally, the car is immediately distinguished from the Elysee which it replaces with a much more modern front. The front optics are redesigned, as are the shields while the rafters are enlarged and receive the traditional chrome bars. In the rear, the shield is also redesigned while the lights coming from the ZX are abandoned. The version 4 and the 5-door version take advantage of the restyling to be further distinguished, the 4 doors receiving a specific rear face.

The front panel is fitted with new Xantia-like optics, a new grille, and a new shield, while at the rear only the lights are retouched and the upper part is now crystal-colored. Inside, change is more evident. The dashboard is now fully recovered from the Xsara, which greatly improves the overall finish of the car. Citroen Elysee 2017 Engine
The petrol engines offered are the new generation of EB 2M engines (without camshaft shifter ) 1.2 l vti 72 hp and EC5 1.6 l vti 115 hp. The only diesel engine in the catalog is the 1.6 l HDi 92 hp (with or without a particle filter depending on the country of sale).
The latter all comply with the Euro 5 emission standard (with FAP for the HDI). For the Euro 6 standard, the C-Élysée receives the 1.2EB2F (82 hp) engine and the 1.6 BlueHDI 100 (DV6F), engines identical to those of the rest of the Citroen Elysee 2017 range.
