Audi RS5 2017 Design
The 1st-generation of Audi RS5 is based on the A5 8T and was presented as a coupé at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. The RS5 2017 model is only available with a double-clutch 7-speed S tronic transmission. Prices for the Sport Coupe start at 77.700 Euros. The RS5 has a developed version of the naturally aspirated V8 engine known from the previous RS4 and Audi R8, this high revving engine delivers 30 more hp, bringing the total to 450 bhp at 8250 rpm. The maximum torque of 430 N.m, which is available between 4000 and 6000 rpm. The engine intake system is finely ground so you can breathe more freely, and you now have a double intake. The engine on the Audi RS4 often took its power not because it did not get enough air.
The RS5 follows the design language RS of the Audi TT RS. There are a black honeycomb grille and large black vents. The front and rear bumpers are more aggressive and the diffuser stabs two oval exhaust pipes. The 2017 Audi RS5 model is standard 19-inch light, 20-inch is on the list of options.
Audi RS5 2017 Engine
The Audi RS5 2017 model’s engine is based on the high-speed V8 engine of the RS4 2005. Compared to this, the power of the V8 engine in the 2017 RS5 could increase by 22 kW (30 hp) and reaches more than 8000 rpm. The torque of 430 Nm remained unchanged but is available in a speed range of 4000 to 6000 rpm.
The Audi RS5 2017 is supplied as standard with the 7-speed dual clutch transmission and the all-wheel drive. For the first time, a gear ring differential is used as the center differential instead of the normally normal torque differential. Compared to the predecessor, it is two kilograms lighter and allows a free delay distribution of the drive pairs. The basic distribution of the drive torque is 40% on the front axle and 60% on the rear axle. For better traction, a maximum of 70% can be directed towards the front or 85% towards the rear.
The transmission, throttle pedal, and steering characteristic, as well as the response behavior of the standard exhaust flap control, can be changed by the driver (Audi drive select). This also applies to the optional components of dynamic steering, sports differential.
Audi RS4 Avant Quattro
The new Audi RS4 Avant Quattro was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012. It is based on the B8 Audi A4 Avant. B8 RS4 saloon versions have not been built. Among the options available for the B8 RS4, are the ceramic brakes, allowing the car to perform heavy braking without having brake fade. A total of ca. 7000 units of the Audi B8 RS4 were built.
Audi RS5 2017 Safety

Inside, there was such a significant change. In addition to the new 2.8 30v (193ks) and 2.5 TDI (140hp) engine, the choice remained the same as a 100 model just as the engine 2.3 abolished in some markets and are therefore A6 models with this engine at the present time very rare. The difference between the Audi A6 and Audi S6 is not very large, except for the engine, and is visible especially after fenders, front bumper and considerably larger brake calipers and discs. Also on the interior of the Audi S6 have a white background color cursor speed and other watches, as opposed to A6 having a black, a model S6 PLUS has blue.

Because a piece is moved back on this platform powertrain compared to the previous generation A6 has significantly increased the wheelbase by 76 mm. New since the A7 is the Quattro all-wheel drive that uses a crown wheel -differential on the Audi RS5 is introduced.
Torque vectoring is standard on Quattro versions, which generates curves more power to the outside rear wheel to counter understeer. In addition, the A6 is now 7-speed S tronic gearbox available with Quattro.
The existing Multitronic gearbox in combination with front-wheel drive and kept the six-speed manual. Especially for bigger engines that are planned with the 8-speed will be delivered to the Audi A6 2018 Tiptronic automatic transmission already in the Audi A8 and Audi Q7 can be found.
