2019 Chrysler Pacifica is a mid-size SUV from Chrysler. The Chrysler Pacifica 2019 shares its platform with the Chrysler mini-vans, but offers four-wheel drive and a high-end interior. The Chrysler Pacifica was introduced for 2004 and was originally inspired by the Chrysler Citadel concept car. The Pacifica, according to Chrysler, is a “sports tourist.” The 2019 Pacifica is built in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, next to the Chrysler Town & Country and the Dodge Grand Caravan.
In November 2007, Chrysler LLC announced that Pacifica is expected to be phased out after the 2008 model year. The Pacifica has not been replaced, but there were rumors of a 2009 Pacifica designated as CT49. Potential changes may have included a rear wheel supply and, if they occurred, were framed for production at the St. Louis assembly plant in mid-2008. As a model recently introduced in 2004, the Pacifica has undergone very little external review. For 2006, the level of “Limited” equipment became available without full wheel drive. For 2007, Chrysler’s SOHC 4.0L V6 engine was added.
