2017 Audi RS5 is a sports model of the German car manufacturer Audi. The 2017 Audi RS5 is the high-end model series Audi A5 and is still in the Audi S5. RS5 was developed by Quattro GmbH, which is also responsible for other Audi RS models. The car was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. Production began in the summer of 2010. At first, there was just a two-door coupe, but in 2013 a fiacre also appeared.
The first generation RS5 is based on the A5 8T and introduced as a coupe at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. The vehicle is only available with a 7-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission.
2017 Audi RS5 : Design
The line of the original RS5 Quattro is based on the Audi A5, which was designed by Walter de Silva Maria. Compared to A5 variants, the RS pattern is fixed on the engine and the front transmission and which follows the front and rear bars modified without fog lights, but front air baffles, grille in Rautendesign, Mudguard, side skirts, fuel around the filler cap, aluminum exterior mirrors, matte aluminum body detail, two oval outlets, retractable rear spoiler. 2017 Audi RS5 : Engine
The engine is based on the high-speed V8 RS4 engine in comparison, the power of the V8 engine in RS5 could be increased by 22 kW (30 hp) and reaches more than 8000 rpm. 430 Nm has remained unchanged but is available in a range of speeds from 4000 to 6000 rpm.
The 10`7 RS5 is well-developed version of the V8 knows no prior known RS4 and R8, this provides the high-speed engine of 30 hp more, bringing the total of 450 hp to 8250 rpm. At present, the RS5 comes with a standard dual speed S tronic 7. It is not known if a six-speed hand brake transmission is available afterward. The four-wheel drive Quattro is standard on the traditional 2017 Audi RS5 and can be optionally equipped with the new sports differential, known as the Audi S4.
